Frances is head of Osborne Clarke’s Recruitment Sector specialising in advising staffing companies and other employment intermediaries on all aspects of recruitment process (MSP, RPO), contracting models, taxation of contingent workers, liability and insurance aspects and recruitment sector M&A.
She also works with start-up and growth online platforms to deal with Employment Agency Act regulation matters, worker status and payment models.
Frances has helped shape legislation affecting the staffing sector in the UK, including taking part in working groups with HMRC (Onshore and Offshore intermediaries tax and Expenses legislation), with BEIS and the CBI (Agency Workers Regulations) and HMTreasury (reports on CIS and umbrella workers).
Frances qualified as a lawyer in 2003 and has specialised in the recruitment and staffing sector ever since. She joined Osborne Clarke as a Consultant in 2010.
